Wuxi Yangtong Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. (Yangtong), established in 1985, covers an area of 95,000 square meters. The company comprises a dedicated technology park and three advanced production bases, employing over 600 staff, including more than 100 professional engineers. We are China’s first enterprise specialized in the development and manufacture of steel structure equipment and the only manufacturer to participate in the compilation of welding specifications for the national steel structure industry.
Developed the first successful Light H-Beam Production Line. Its compact structure and advanced functionality have earned praise from over 1,000 global customers.
Pioneering H-Beam Automatic Welding Production Line (Light & Heavy Steel) Yangtong was the first in China to introduce this automated line. Except for initial cutting, assembly, and final flange straightening, the entire fabrication process requires zero overhead crane handling. This ensures a seamless workflow with high automation, significantly boosting production efficiency while drastically reducing manual labor intensity. This system has been successfully deployed at over 100 industrial sites with exceptional results.
First Box Beam Automatic Welding Production Line We were the first to launch a box beam line featuring a combined longitudinal and transverse layout. This design offers a compact footprint with high automation and efficiency; overhead cranes are only needed for loading and unloading the final product. Innovation in Process: We pioneered the unique sequence of "Electroslag Welding (ESW) followed by Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)" based on extensive welding trials.
This proprietary method reduces equipment investment (eliminating the need for specialized drilling and steel shifting machines) while ensuring the highest weld quality for both ESW and SAW processes. These lines are now exported globally to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
Yangtong is a Director Unit of the China Welding Association and a Standing Director of the China Steel Structure Association. Recognized as a Jiangsu High-Tech Enterprise and a Provincial Model Management Enterprise, we hold ISO9001:2000 certification.
